Partnership Governors - Nomination Form
The Lakers School Governing Body is looking to recruit new Governors.
We currently have the following vacancies:
2 Partnership Governors
`Attendance at 4 Full Governing Body meetings (evenings), 1 held every other term with 1 additional in the Summer Term. Each Governor will also be expected to be a member of at least 1 committee of the Governing Body and these meetings take place every other term. The Term of Office for all Governors is 4 years. However, a Governor can resign by writing to the Clerk to the Governing Body, at any time during this period.
Partnership Governors
Who is eligible? Partnership governors must be members of the community served by the school who are committed to the good government and success of the school
Who is not eligible? Registered students at the school, their parents, staff eligible to be Staff Governors, elected members of the local authority and those employed by the LEA in connection with education functions
What happens next? All nominations received are presented to the Governing Body for consideration and suitable applicants will be appointed by the Governing Body.
